Honda and Japanese auto specialist, Arnold Villarreal, opened Hondoworks Auto Repair in October 1995 with the goal of providing Balch Springs area drivers with a dealer alternative for their Honda and import vehicles. After working at a dealership for eight years, and becoming a Honda Master Technician, Arnold had grown dissatisfied with the dealership experience. So, he started working on the weekends, laying the groundwork for his own auto repair shop.
